Christine Schippers

MA, MSc, CE
Senior Research Associate

Christine is an experienced researcher and a Credentialed Evaluator (CE). She also holds a Certificate in Indigenous Awareness from Indigenous Awareness Canada. She has a background in economics, statistics, demographics, international development, and foreign policy. She has participated in every stage of data collection and analysis. Through her work at PRA she has refined her skills in qualitative data analysis, so that in conjunction with her already extensive background in quantitative methods and analysis, she can apply the myriad research methods at her disposal to a variety of project demands.

Her work focuses on program evaluation in various areas, including vulnerable populations, affordable housing, education, immigration, public health, and justice, among others. Christine has managed and contributed to evaluations for federal and provincial government departments and agencies, as well as for non-governmental organizations. She works in both English and French.

Prior to joining PRA, Christine was an instructor at the University of Manitoba, a Research Fellow at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy, a research associate at the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research, and a consultant for the World Bank.
