Christine Schippers
MA, MScRESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Christine is an experienced researcher with a background in economics, statistics, demographics, international development, and foreign policy. In her previous research work as well as her current work at PRA, she has participated in every stage of data collection and analysis. Through her work at PRA she has refined her skills in qualitative data analysis, so that in conjunction with her already extensive background in quantitative methods and analysis, she can apply the myriad research methods at her disposal to a variety of project demands.
Her work at PRA focuses on program evaluation in various areas, including vulnerable populations, affordable housing, public health, and justice, among others. Christine has contributed to evaluations for federal and provincial government departments and agencies, as well as for non-governmental organizations. She works in both English and French.
Prior to joining PRA, she taught economic theory and analytical methods as part of several courses that she designed as an instructor at the University of Manitoba. She even enjoys reading such ghastly subject matter in her spare time.
