Health care and public health
We have conducted healthcare-related evaluations and other studies for federal, provincial-territorial governments, as well as arms’ length and not-for-profit organizations, including Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living; the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term Care; the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI); and Health Canada.
We have worked in such diverse areas as improving patient safety and quality of care, achieving public health goals in the area of child and family health, and providing health care and related services in both official languages.
We have also led studies in the area of workplace health and safety, mental health, and tobacco, gambling and other addictions.

Health regulatory programs
We also have extensive experience in the area of federal health regulatory risk management programs. These programs aim to mitigate risks to human health through science-based activities such as risk assessment, risk management, monitoring and surveillance, and compliance promotion and enforcement.
Our expertise spans inter-related areas such as the regulation of human drugs (pharmaceuticals), biologics, medical devices, consumer products, veterinary drugs, pesticides and chemicals management.
